H.E. Paolo Rondelli, Former Head of State- San Marino is a distinguished statesman and diplomat with a long-standing record of leadership in international governance and multilateral engagement. He served as Captain Regent (Head of State) of the Republic of San Marino in 2022, where he was recognized for his commitment to democratic values, inclusive leadership, and constructive global dialogue.
Over the course of his career, he has held several senior diplomatic and institutional roles, including Ambassador of San Marino to the United States and Permanent Representative to UNESCO. In these capacities, he actively advanced cultural diplomacy, international cooperation, and cross-border partnerships, strengthening San Marino’s engagement with global institutions and international stakeholders.
