The W50 Global Summit, organised by the

World Leaders Consortium (WLC) collaborated with M-Aashiyana Welfare Foundation, was successfully held on 15 December at Garvi Gujarat, New Delhi, under the inspiring theme “Local Impact to Global Influence.The summit emerged as a landmark global platform, bringing together policymakers, diplomats, heads of state, business leaders, academicians, social leaders, youth representatives, and media professionals from across the world to engage in meaningful dialogue on inclusive and sustainable global leadership.

The summit focuses on several key pillars to drive global transformation:

  2. Digital Diplomacy: Leveraging technology and AI for international cooperation and governance.

  4. Indian Excellence: Highlighting India’s contributions to peacebuilding, soft power, and grassroots innovation.

Our Chief Guest

The summit was graced by His Excellency Dr Joseph Muscat, 13th Prime Minister of Malta, as the Chief Guest, whose presence added significant global stature to the event. In his address, Dr Muscat highlighted the importance of international cooperation, economic development, and inclusive diplomacy in navigating today’s interconnected global challenges. He emphasised that local initiatives, when aligned with global collaboration, can generate long-term international impact.

The summit was led by Ms. Mayurakshi V. Verma is widely recognized as a dynamic civil engineer, visionary speaker, and social entrepreneur who has dedicated her career to building bridges between grassroots welfare and global leadership. As the Founder of M‑Aashiyana Welfare Foundation (MAWF), she has spearheaded initiatives that focus on education, women’s empowerment, and sustainable community development, ensuring that marginalized voices are not only heard but actively uplifted. Her foundation has become a platform for driving equity and fostering opportunities for underrepresented groups.

Key Highlights

A key highlight of the summit was the strong participation of the diplomatic community. Several eminent diplomats shared their insights, including His Excellency Mr Reuben Gauci, High Commissioner of Malta to India, Mr Cedrick Crowley, Minister Plenipotentiary and Deputy High Commissioner of South Africa to India, and Mr Janis Darbari, Consul General of Montenegro. The session with ambassadors and the Prime Minister was led by Ms. Mayurakshi Verma, Founding Member of WLC and Founder of M-Aashiyana Welfare Foundation, offering a focused platform for high-level diplomatic dialogue and exchange.

The entire summit was expertly moderated by Ritika Kashyap of India, ensuring seamless flow and engaging discussions throughout the event.
More than 20 distinguished speakers from across the globe shared their vision and expertise across multiple high-level sessions, making the summit a truly international exchange of ideas. The discussions were structured around key global agendas that reflect today’s most pressing priorities, including international cooperation, global diplomacy, economic development, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), art, culture and tourism, youth leadership, and governance.

Discussions on economic development focused on inclusive growth, innovation-driven economies, entrepreneurship, and public–private partnerships as key enablers of global resilience. Sessions aligned with the SDGs reinforced the importance of translating global goals into actionable local strategies, particularly in areas such as sustainability, climate action, education, and social equity.
The summit also highlighted the growing role of art, culture, and tourism as instruments of soft power, cultural diplomacy, and economic growth.
